Trauma informed learning free of adultist models

The learning that happens at Spring Academy is trauma informed and free of adultist models.
But what is trauma informed learning and what is adultism?

Two online events can answer these questions and we invite you to join us at Casa Lucia so we can participate together in person.

• On Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th of May 2023 from 11:00 to 18:00 (Greek time) the incredible Anne Sophie Winkelmann and Katerina Varella are giving
  A digital workshop on adultism “Power relations between children and adults.A critical (self-)reflection on adultism”
  There will be a common screen but each person should register individually and connect through their own device.
• On Saturday May 6th at 20:00 (Greek time) we will watch the Greek premiere of the film The wisdom of trauma by Younity Greece on Gabor Maté’s work towards a trauma informed society. Each person should register individually here.
  A Q&A session (in person) will follow with Pieter Lijesen who is a participant in Gabor Maté’s Compassionate Inquiry Professional Program. He is also trained in Somatic Experience techniques by Peter Levine.
  More activities will follow as we are creating a Trauma Release Study Group.

For the little ones in the evening we can play another movie and there are places to sleep.
