Mindful Movement, Breathwork and Yoga Nidra

This relaxing class is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their physical, emotional and mental health.

We will begin with mindful movement; the practice of being fully present with the body in motion.
This practice helps us to tap into that space beyond the busy mind while gently improving our mobility, flexibility and strength.

Next we will practise breath techniques to help move the body out of fight-or-flight mode and into a relaxed state ready for our yoga nidra.

Yoga nidra, also known as yogic sleep or effortless relaxation, enables us to enter a state of consciousness between walking and sleeping induced by a guided meditation.

Having originally trained in Rishikesh, India, I value authenticity in a yoga practise. This is reflected in my style of teaching. My yoga journey first began while working in an holistic center in Manchester. There I worked as a Mentor and Project Coordinator for families affected by anxiety related conditions such as, autism. I wanted something to offer my clients which empowered them to manage their own stress and anxiety. I was guided towards yoga and immediately knew it would help anyone who practised it. For me Yoga is not about how many times you can wrap your legs around your own head, it's not a performace. Yoga is about how it truly makes you feel on the inside and the positive impact on every aspect of your life these experiences can have.
