Sound Bath & Yoga Nidra relaxation

Next One: 17/12/24

Alma Sounds and Kali Yoga Corfu come together for these monthly events to create a sound vibration experience combined with yoga nidra (guided meditation).

A deeply relaxing combination of two healing modalities with sound healing practitioner Andrea Deya and Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master Kali Potts.

The combination of healing vibrations and sleep yoga can be a very powerful way to deeply relax and restore.

Immerse yourself in the harmonic sounds of crystal and tibetan bowls, gong and chimes while being guided through an ancient practice of focused and guided relaxation.

Andrea’s journey into sound therapy began in 2020 during a captivating yoga class where she was entranced by the teacher’s use of a Nepalese singing bowl. This moment ignited a passion for the therapeutic benefits of sound and vibration, leading her to study Sound Baths and Sound Therapy at the Peter Hess Institute in Athens. In 2022, she achieved her Gong Master Diploma from a training facilitated by Krzysztof Bubel, a renowned gong master and former student of Don Conreaux. Her profound understanding of sound and its restorative effects on the mind, body, and soul inspired her to create Alma Sounds Corfu, bringing these experiences to the wider community beyond just yoga practitioners.

Having originally trained in Rishikesh, India, I value authenticity in a yoga practise. This is reflected in my style of teaching. My yoga journey first began while working in an holistic center in Manchester. There I worked as a Mentor and Project Coordinator for families affected by anxiety related conditions such as, autism. I wanted something to offer my clients which empowered them to manage their own stress and anxiety. I was guided towards yoga and immediately knew it would help anyone who practised it. For me Yoga is not about how many times you can wrap your legs around your own head, it's not a performace. Yoga is about how it truly makes you feel on the inside and the positive impact on every aspect of your life these experiences can have.
